Kappa signifie au Japon « Enfant des rivières » qui viendrait probablement des histoires que l’on racontait aux enfants pour les éloigner de l’eau et leur éviter la noyade. C'est un yokai de la taille d'un enfant, à peau de grenouille, carapace de tortue, bec, cheveux avec cupule d'eau au sommet qui lui donnerait sa force et le maintiendrait en vie, il est un être redoutable autant que poli et malicieux...
Cuits à 1250°C, il est pafaitement étudié pour la vie en extérieur, quel que soit le temps.

Fired at 1250°C, it is perfectly suited for outdoor life, whatever the weather.
